Day 1: Chiangmai/Mae Hong Son/boat trip/Karen and Padong long neck hilltribe villages. Leave Chiangmai airport and depart flight to Mae Hong Son. Day 2: City and temple tour/Chiangmai. Breakfast at hotel. Visit the morning market then on to a beautiful Burmese style temple, Wat Chongkham by a lake. After, visit Wat Prathat Doi Kong Mu situated at 900 ft. up the mountain offering a spectacular view of the town. Depart Mae Hong Son airport flight for Chiangmai. Trekking 2 days (1,500 baht/pax)
This trek is good for tourist who has a short time scheduled to experience the Jungle trek. However, we try our best providing you with the most completed jungle trek as we can.
Day 1 : Leave Chiang Mai by truck, 2 hrs drive along a picturesque through plains and curves steep drops, stop for lunch. Drive through mountainous rout for natural hot spring, stop for bathing the mineral water, proceed by walking for 3 hrs to Karen village, see the tribe men in their nature surrounding and typical life style. Dinner and night at the village.
Day 2 : Breakfast, take a riding on the elephant for 2 hrs. safari along the forests to the raft camp, lunch. Proceed on bamboo-rafting for 2 hrs. Along the Mae Tang river. End of the day by taking a truck to Chiang Mai.
Trekking 3 days (1,700 baht/pax)
Day 1: 2 hours drive along a picturesque road through plains and curves, steep drops and dramatic plunging valleys to Mae Taeng district. Upon arrival, 2 hours trek take you over the northern hills to Lisu village. Spend the evening respectfully and witnessing their activities and customs. Dinner and night with Lisu family.
Day 2: Breakfast and 3 hours trek through the dense forest to the Skaw Karen village. Lunch to be served, followed by 2 hour elephant ride to the White Karen village on the river. Dinner and night at the village.
Day 3: After breakfast, 3 hours raft trip through the curves and rapids of Mae Taeng river. End the exciting trip and lunch at Shan village, and then catch the pickup truck back to Chiangmai, taking about 2 hours.
